I recently converted my automatic to a 4speed in my 66 cuda. The car has a console with a 4 speed top plate and I need a shifter bar that will fit up though
the console and top plate. Brewer doesn't have them. If anyone knows where I can get one I'd sure appreciate it
thanks

Just wondering the same as I am putting a console in my 66 4 speed. Will the 67 and up hurst console stick work?

You will have to scrounge for this part since they are very rare, but it is the correct Hurst replacement for the Inland shifter in the '66 Dart/Barracuda.

thanks for the pic. Where did you get your shifter bar for the console? Just curious. I just saw one on ebay for a 68 barracuda 340 w/console. Will that fit the 66 cuda?

The shifter handle in my pic is NOT a '68/69 shifter. It is a correct '66/67 replacement for the inland. That one came in the car, and I bought another on Egag many years ago for 50 bucks because no one knows what they are. Like I said...they are pretty rare, but when they turn up they are cheap because no one knows the part exists.
Yes a '68 will work, but they don't look anything like the correct piece. They are also extremely spendy.

I've had several inquiries regarding pics of this shifter outside the car. Here you all go........

You can use the 68 & up hurst style but you will need the console shifter handle (bar I believe you are referring to) & a hurst box. the 68 & up handles are available as reproductions from brewers. they are a bolt on handle & do not say hurst on them. The 67 & older are not being repopped yet as far as I know.
