Looking for new, repro, or NOS 62 Valiant windsheild. Does anyone have any idea where I could get one ? Willing to import from outside the US if available.

Layson`s claims to have them for $365 plus "crate cost", $150 to the east coast and approximately $70 to the west coast.

Thanks for the information. I'll check it out ............................

I shopped around for quite awhile and the cheapest I could find was $460 for a new one installed. Only 60-62 windshields will fit.63 & newer won't. Only one or two places we could find listed them. Make sure your rubber gasket is re-usable because they are extremely difficult to find. This last year when I did mine the only place I could find a new(repro) one was in Australia for $400+ dollars. Finally found a good used one on e-bay.

All auto glass has a NAGS number. The NAGS number for the '60-'62 A-body windshield is DW-591. Still available through an auto glass shop that cares enough to order glass they don't normally get requests for. Try to get a major brand such as PPG, not a Chinese one such as FYG. No good reason to stick your hand (and wallet) down Layson's garbage disposal for a product they do not make (nor have anything to do with having made) -- they just buy and mark up.
