I have some old dragracing and Detroit auto show on Super 8mm. Id like to put them on a DVD but I dont know who does it or how much it might cost me

I don't know how much services cost, but if you set up a projector and then re-record that in realtime using a modern camcorder, you could do it yourself. If you've got a DVD camcorder, you're set or you could run the camcorder's output through a DVD recorder box.

got a cosco , bj's or sams club nearby? they all do it and remaster the old movies alittle to boot! not too expensive unless you have alot of film to do.

I found that service available through ebay a few years ago. The person ran the 40 year old 8mm and super8 reels through a telecine setup.
Our reels hadn't been stored properly do the film was very brittle. Those type conditions effect the cost of converting.
Finished DVD was very nice. Title screen and home movies watchable again.

Best place is a pro who cleans and protects the film before it is converted.
