What are some signs that the hobby is getting expensive?..

I work for UPS and see a lot of cool cars. One of my customers was a real nice older lady with a 69 Notch Back Cuda. It's her daily driver. She drives about one mile to work and back. It's had a nice paint job, good maintanence, new fuel tank, etc. 318, auto, A/C blows ice cold. It's a pretty car and would make a nice driver. I showed her pics of some of my old Cuda's and she said if she ever decided to sell it she would like some one like me to have it. A couple years ago she called and said she was ready to let it go. I'm thinking 3K is a fair price, not low balling her. She says her insurance man told her it was a 10K car at least. Then she said this insurance guy told her she she had really screwed up when she gave her son, in Texas, her 1970 Ford Estate Waggon. It's nuckelheads like that, that really screw up the market. People look to them for advice. At least the B/J cars are high end muscle cars, not unrestored drivers. The last time I went by she still had the Cuda, Joe.

Have here offer it for @10k to her insurance man..
