It feels good when you drive down the road and you get a 'Thumbs Up" from someone or you get to talking to some stranger about your car at a show and they like what they see. Having had both of those experiences I can tell you it really feels good, but today I had a new one.

I had taken the wife to the grocery store in the Barracuda and while I backed into a shady spot someone pulls up beside me. I get out and he says " Nice car! Are you interested in selling it?" I told him no that I had too much blood, sweat and tears into it to sell it now. We talked for a few minutes and he went on his way.

I guess I'm doing something right if I'm getting offers to sell it! I had a permagrin :-D for the next hour! I still get the warm fuzzies thinking about it.

And, no. He didn't drop a figure and I didn't offer one.

Allways nice to get compliments!

I'll Never forget, the 1st time I brought my car to the local track... the ride there with open trailer I got a few thumbs up on the highway...After getting the car off trailer at the track....this Black guy (lack of a less stereotypical term) with gold teeth, the gold chains, leather jacket and posse en tow comes walking by my car.... And he was like "YO, man that car is the Bomb! (hands doing the talking as well) He was going on and on for a few minutes and finally asked me, What do you want for it? I politely answered, it's not for sale, there's too much Blood, Sweat n Tears in it. We chatted for a few and he went on his way... Needless to say, he did leave a smile on my face for the entire night.

Allways great to have someone appreciate your work !

My car is nowhere near show quality. It's nice, but has issues.

But it sure feels good to see people actually take pictures of her when she's in a show.

And the "thumbs up" that I get while driving around is always a good feeling.
