On the driver side of the secondary shaft you'll see two pieces that when enough throttle pressure is applied to make primaries about 2/3 open the one piece contacts the other and the secondaries open. Sorry I don't know the name of the pieces.

Its called a "dog" - please don't ask me why.

From the dictionary -

a. any of various mechanical devices, as for gripping or holding something.
b. a projection on a moving part for moving steadily or for tripping another part with which it engages.

The other option os to either tie or braise the two linkages together, as in the pic.
