Hot Rod mag suspension build up - what's your opinion?

In my opinion it's amazing Hot Rod did anything Mopar at all, but since Hotchkis has done so much for GM over the years I guess it seems like a no brainer for Hot Rod to do something with Hotchkis's name on it. Personally, I don't care what the cost of the Hotchkis system, they ignored us Mopar guys for so long I still wouldn't buy it. Only now that the E-body and some B-bodies are turning into high demand overpriced (thanks B&J!) iron does the all-GM vendors seem to be taking us seriously as a market. That being said, I take anything that Hot Rod or Camaro...err Car Craft magazines say with a grain of salt. As was pointed out, the author really didn't baseline the vehicle other than to compare it to newer vehicles. Does the Hot Rod crowd know so little that they don't know what a g is?

Hotchkis actually built lots of Dodge Dakota suspension when absolutely no one else was doing that.

It seems like you have some chip on your shoulder or something.

Year One, Goodmark, Edelbrock, all started making parts for other brands before Mopar parts. Edelbrock started with flathead Ford stuff in the late 40's. So I guess you don't buy parts from any of those guys??? These aftermarket businesses are small. They tackle the relatively high volume parts first and then move to the lower volume stuff. Or they hit markets that are wide open.

There's been places selling Mopar suspension stuff for years. Just no one bought the stuff enough to keep the places in business.
