Picked up exhaust kit today

Geez..what, these guys have too much business??? I've emailed them asking for a quote on supplying and shipping that same system (plus manifold headpipe kit) to me here in Victoria. 3 times they have gone unanswered. They must be just too busy makin' money!

Wadda I gotta do,eh?

Their (lack of) customer service was one reason why I chose not to get them to install the kit.

When I was first pricing out exhaust systems a couple of months ago I stopped to check the shop out. I got a quote for them to do the install including fabbing the head pipe, mufflers, tips and labour. They wanted $90/muffler (and they were knock-off flowmasters that can be had for $25/muffler), $175 for A-body tips (not a brutal price but not amazing either), along with ~$200 for fabbing the head pipes. They said the hangers the kit comes with are garbage and that I should use better hangers (add $45) and then said it would be ~$400 for labor. They also tried to convince me that welding the mufflers to the pipes was the way to go (instead of using clamps).

Altho their pricing was pretty high they were the only local ones I came across who did mandrel bent A-body kits. So when I went in last week to buy the kit, the shop was closed with a sign saying they'd be back at 2:45. Problem was it was 3:15 already (their business hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 5 or something like that). I decided to wait around a couple of minutes and called them (hoping they would have forwarded the shop phone to a cell) to see when they would be back. While waiting, Lordco stopped by to drop off some parts but had to turn around. I stopped by again this past Monday to buy the kit and the guy said it would take about two days and they would call me when it was ready. By Thursday afternoon I hadn't heard from them yet so I called to follow-up. They said the kit was ready since Wednesday late morning. So I'm glad I decided to not give them any more business than necessary and would rather spend the install money (and fabbing work for the head pipes) at a shop that has worked on the car before and has better customer service.
