I put a set of Dougs on this year. I took a set off (they look like the hookers, but i'm not sure if they were) they had been hammered in to clear and the steering column would hit if you turned right. When I put the Doug's on they were hitting the drivers side torsion bar and the steering box. It ended up that my engine was not in the correct spot in the engine bay and I had to move it over to the passengers side an inch.
You might want to look into that.
