Hello all,

After a looong period of raising kids, playing soldier, and a host of other things I finally got to get back to my MOPAR roots.

Recently purchased a 72 Swinger with the 225. Last Mopar I had was my 73 Charger, before that a 68 Coronet, before that a 67 Dart, before that a 66 Baracuda, somewhere in there a I had a retired Police Monaco, and I remember being a tratior for a short period when I owned a 454 Nova.

So here I am retired / disabled from the Army and my civilian job from the war. Been building one of choppers for rest and relaxation for the last few years, and got the itch to do a period correct 70's hot rod/race car.

I am luckier than most as during my working years I managed to build a small machine shop in my garage, lathe, mill, tig, mig, and other goodies that sat while I worked and prepared for retirement, just didn't expect to be out for the count at 46. Grew up working in my Dad's machine shop so I didn't have to the trial and error with learning the machinery.

Thats the short version.
