Whats' a AMC Rebel Machine worth???

My buddy had a red/white/blue 4spd one, sold it several years ago for 25K.He still kicks himself but he needed the money for a down payment on his house.It is the only one I have ever seen around here thought he was BSing me till I went to his place.
