Anybody Going to St. Louis Monster Mopar Weekend???

How did i miss this? Sept 25th-27th, Gateway International Raceway. Every Mopar freak in the area will be there along with a few chevy and ford guys till the mopars put em back on the trailers. Probably leave here on thursday evening. We stay out at i think it's Fairfield Hieghts. 10 minute drive to the track and lots of places to eat around the motel. See ya all there. Look for the FABO trailer in the swap meet area. I'll have the grill fired up every day. Ya cant sell food but you can damn sure give it away.

Im looking for a 70-73 duster bumper with brackets in good driver shape with no dents and decent chrome if it can be bought resonably enough. So if any of you guys are going and have one lmk I may be interested.
 
Bigstroke, Was that a front or rear bumper? Let me know and i'll look in the field and see what i have. I know i dont have any on the trailer.

Mike will be there Friday A.M. early as he'll be riding with me and we'll be arriving thursday evening so we can be in on Friday early. I'll have the grill with me so bring your lawn chairs and anything you want to grill. I got the fire. Looks like i'll have a 20' X 70' space to work with so there will be plenty of room. Come on by and sign the trailer and some needs to refresh their sig as they have faded a bit. Motel location is as Fishy pointed out. Stay in Ill. We head east to Fairfield Hieghts and stay at the super 8. Lots of places to eat and plenty of good places to eat within walking didtance. Joes Crab Shack, Red Lobster and plenty others. About 10 minutes from the track.

You can bet i'm watching the weather in a big way. My local forcast only goes out about 7 days so it's not quite there. Anyone have a long range for the St Louis area?
 
Hopefully it will be a Beautiful Dry weekend with lots of scenery.
 
I'll be there looking for a good '69-'70 Valiant or Duster passenger fender.
 
Some one coming by Leannas way needs to stop by and pick her up for a ride to MMW. Look at your route and see if you can help her out.

Everyone getting cranked up for MMW? Its only 6 days away. I know I've been sorting parts, working on my trailer and cleaning up the car.

I spent today stuck in the house. Had a bad case of the stomach flu.
 
Welcome Tom and Vicki. Would love to meet you both. We'll be set up in the swap meet area in the middle of the circle track. You cant miss the trailer. See ya there. If you look at the MMW site you'll see several of the clubs listed that will be represented there so next year if it's ok with the powers that be i'll have FABO listed there also. Got a whole year to work on a good oppurtunity to get some name recognition. I'll check into getting a periodic announcement made as to the location of the gathering of FABO site members. I think i can make that happen.

If your coming and staying overnite we are staying in Fairview Hts at a Super 8. Take 64 west out of St louis on the Ill. side and go to exit 12. About 10 miles of 6 lane from the track. Go across the hywy and it's in the plaza on the left. Plenty of places to eat and park a trailer. Eating within walking distance ofthe rooms. Mike and i will me staying there among others. Their phone # is 618-398-8338. Nice rooms also. See ya there.

would be there but im a fun day committee member for the county fair.My committee runs relay and sack races all afternoon friday and awards prizes to the kids. i,ve been doing this for 5 years now and am thinking about stepping down so i can be there in st. louiis next year. I hate to do it but Mopar runs deep. Say hi to my friends who will be there. Damon will be there with his 9 second 60 Dodge Fugly and Dave Schultz will be there with his 65 Big Red Ram. Tell em Pete said to say hi.
