where's a good place to get a speedo gear for a 727? my speedo is off and I need a bigger gear. I looked in Jegs and ebay with no luck
 
Many trans shops can get them in for you as well..(my be cheaper) then dealer.
 
i need a 36 tooth (red) I called my local dodge dealer and they said they couldn't go back that far. (68 barracuda) anybody know a part number?
 
hey thanks.....I have 26" tire with 3.55. I used my GPS and determined that I was 13.3 % high. I pulled my gear and saw it was a 32 tooth. i took 32 X 1.13and got 36.16 so that is how I came up with it. Good to see it matched.
 
My dealership was able to get me the gear no problem... even had it in stock on a Saturday!! Hopefully you were able to get one... if not, let me know! Just put a new one in mine this weekend! :thumblef:
 
thanks for all the help. The local dealer was able to match up that part number. they didn't have one but could order it....it is $22.90 he said. I guess I'll just go with year one....I need to place an order with them anyway.
