I'll be there rain of shine. Just spoke with Mike and he'll be headed this way soon and it looks like we can pull out early do the the rain. It's raining now and more to come but Hey. Whats a little rain. It'll play hell on the races but there will still be parts and partys. Lets see now..this is post #2999. What memorable thread should i make the #3000th on....let me see...

Listening to the forecast this morning it sounds like Friday will see some rain but it is supposed to break and be a decent weekend with some nice temps. Let's hope it holds out for you guys. This will be the first year in quite awhile that I will not be able to at least skate in for an hour or two. Both kids have soccer and baseball games all weekend.

Getting the truck gassed up and will be leaving before or around 11 am Bill .
 
I'll be leaving tomorrow late morning and will be there until I decide to leave on Saturday. Check out my parts thread in the part for sale section to see if you want me to bring anything along.
 
Looks like I am leaving now to gas the truck up and grab a sandwich and get to Small Block's :cheers: Camera,clothing,towel,toilettees,sharpies,hat's,shoes,batteries and extra chip for camera!!! Good to go, I am hitting the door now Bill :-D
 
You better take some more pens or markers for all those autographs Memike lol ... and read your PMs before you leave. ;-)
 
I'm planning to crash with a couple of friends from Chicago. Not sure what Motel, but it will be on the IL side. I was offered floor space. Since it took me until yesterday to actually know for sure that I'm going, it's the best I can hope for.

I called that Super 8 on Monday and learned the weekend room rate is $67 plus tax. Considering it's a big town with lots going on this weekend, that isn't too bad.

I hope you guys all have a terrific time, stay dry and safe, and find every un-obtainium A Body part you're lookin for. Love ya all and wish I could be there to share it.
 
OK, got here at about 4 pm. Just got back to the Motel, the Fairfield in. I think I;m right next to Mike and smallblock. Maybe we will run into each other tonight, otherwise, see you at the track.
 
Not able to go, but I would like to know how many 70-72 darts are there for sale? Pictures would be appreciated! Enjoy the Mopars!
 
Tom, I'm glad I got to met you this weekend. I really appreciate you stopping by. I looked around in the pits several times to find you but couldn't.

Jeff, sorry you didn't find me in the pits. I was doing alot of running around visiting with people. I'll look for you again next year, hopefully we're both walking better. Sorry it took so long to answer, our computer was down . Tom
 
Believe it or not, Tom and Vicki and i met about 8 years ago in KC at the drag strip. He was adjusting his valves on his killer duster and i just strolled up and started shootin the bull with a friend i had never met. Never had a clue who Tom and Vicki were when they posted on this thread but when i saw them at MMW and Tom told me who he was, you could have knocked me over with a feather. I see em every year somewhere but names really never came to be important. They were just good folks that loved to talk Mopars. That was one of the tops for the weekend meeting and putting the name with the face. Tom said when he saw the pics of the trailer with me leaning up against it he knew who i was. Tom and Vicki, the pleasure was all mine. Will never forget now. These people are tops. Typical FABO people. Life is good.

Tom, I got my cast off yesterday and started rehab this morning. Man it feels so good without it. Still using my cruches as the doctor will allow me to only put 25lbs on it. Take care of yourself and we will meet again.
 
Smallblock and Memike, Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality. You guys really help to make the weekend for all of us.
Smallblock, The wife and I were able to get everything loaded and tied down without any help. I really appreciate Kyle's willingness to help. He sure is a nice young man.
 
Small Block, I went 9.12 at 149.70 mph in some good air. I'm going to work on the car this winter and see if I can get that first run in the 8's. Tom
