If i lift my engine by the lift plate is the Edelbrock RPM Air Gap strong enough to hold the motor?

I just feel a little uneasy since i never did it that way before. I have the lift plate.

Anyone ever had a problem lifting the motor like that?

As you can see by avatar it is all done and ready to go so you can see why i would be worried

thanks

I used one of these with my air gap (and many other intakes). I installed the engine with the 904 transmission attached and had no issues.

ok cool glad to hear there hasn't been any freak accidents

thanks guys!

As long as the threads are good in the intake and you have the studs/bolts well seated, you should be fine.

I lift BB/Auto set ups using the plates.
