i figured it like this, i had to take off the same things i would have if i had pulled the motor(to paint them), without pulling the motor. after everthing came off, lots of room. i was realy suprised for a motor in. had to take out the air and heat to re do and just went from there. cleaning with a can of laq thinner, and lots of rags.(the hardest) so now ill paint them factory as i put them back on. i figured if it aint' broke, im not fixin it! motor was already painted when it was put in and still holds a fresh blue. so all the acc. need the touch now. tks for the kind words.

thats sharp, i,ve just done mine so good luck on the bolt ups . once you end up with a hand full of bolts you will be there.als

Make sure we get a picture after you unwrap that ham. I think its gonna look pretty nice!

Man looks good, i never even considered doing it that way, i guess cause im pretty dumb. Think i might do that even while the slant still in, i know it has more room than v-8 Hate the looks of my engine compartment now! Was going to wait until v8 swap but after seeing that why wait!! Thanks alot.

Man that looks like a nice job.I was thinkin of touching up my inner fenders some without pulling the engine, thanks for the inspiration.:thumrigh:

Any more problems with paint drips by doing it that way? Looks like the way to go if you don't have an engine hoist.
