Hello, new member here from central Massachusetts, north of Boston....Local tracks are New England Dragway in Epping, NH and Lebanon Valley Dragway in NY. Looking for any and all info on the '65-'66 Valiant 273/235 HP motored cars, ESPECIALLY 4 speed CONVERTIBLE cars....production #s---cars still around, cars still being campaigned at the track, cars for sale----anything. Best wishes to all.... WJL

well sir you came to the right place there are people here very knowledgeable about what you need. im not one of them wrong department for me but any ways wecome to the site.

Welcome WJL! I can't help you out much either as far as locating info, but I can doll it all up for ya once you find it! :-D

You're in great company here. Give the boys a few minutes to wake up and drink some coffee, and I'm sure you'll find everything you need.

Welcome to FABO from north of the border, WJL
Thanks, I have some Canadian friends, as years ago was involved w/ sprint-oval ice track snowmobile racing in northeast U.S. and also have some fond memories of attending NHRA Molson Nationals events when they ran at Sanair.....it was a beautiful track, only about a 3.5 hr. drive for me...got great treatment from our neighbors from the north when up there.... WJL

Hey, Paxton, not far from me at all!
I'm from North Brookfield, went to High School in Spencer and I currently attend Holy Cross in Worcester!

Welcome to the site!

You know it's a small world.....years back I ordered and bought a brand new blk. little 2.2 Turbo Dodge Caravan from Brookfield Motors. That little car really screwed for a 4 banger.....The owner had collected some really rare Hemi and other rare Dodge stuff. Best wishes at Holy Cross. WJL

Hey, now thats cool!
I'm very good friends with the head salesman at Brookfield Motors.
I purchased my 2002 Intrepid from him in 2005, and have been going there almost once a week during the summer ever since.
He and I sit around and talk cars, and he even lets me try out new models sometimes.
Most of the guys that work there are pretty cool, the service manager just finished building a 72? Duster in Plum Crazy.
Hes also got a 67 Dart 273 without a motor in it out behind the showroom/service bays.
Its kinda rough and rusty, no motor, but I've pondered asking him about it.
They're still car guys... :D
Thanks for the best wishes at HC as well!

Welcome to FABO. If you're looking for cars, parts or info for A bodies you've come to the right place. Looks like you've got a thing for early Valiant's, are you adding to a collection or just looking for 1?

I'm looking to find a original 273/235, 4sp, '66 Valiant Convert. to possibly build a NHRA lower class stocker, mostly because of the weight/hp factor, and because that particular model Valiant from the factory was quite scarce. Best wishes. WJL

Welcome to FABO.It's like they said, hang in there you will get your answer.I have seen a number of early A drag cars here, valiants included, some beauties.8)
