Tire size with bbody rear end in Demon

Currently on my 72 demon I have stock 14x5.5 I think rallye wheels with 205/75/14 tires. I also have a b body rear end out of a 68 coronet and 1" higher than stock espo springs. Since the bbody rear end is wider than the abody rear end, what kind of backspacing am I going to need for say...an 8" rim to fit on there? A guy locally has 2 15x8 rims with 5.5" backspacing and 275/60/15 tires and I'm wondering if they'll fit or not.

After moving the perches a b-body rear will work as-is depending on wheel backspacing and whether you want the tires to tuck inside the fender or not. I had mine narrowed slightly so that an 8" wheel with 4.5" backspace would clear.

I think I remember someone running the 1994-2003 Mustang offset wheels, with a B-Body rear installed in an A-Body, without having to narrow it.

i am running that setup on my duster. i forget if the rims are 8 or 9 wide but they have 5.72 bs. 245 tires fit fine.
