Just because snopes can't find anything on it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Their explanation of "it wasn't in any of his biography's" isn't any reason to dismiss it.
That's the same as saying the exodus didn't happen because it's not on the temple walls. If a Pharaoh just got beat by GOD do you think he would advertise it, not, he is supposed to be a god also.
