RARE 2DOOR CUSTOM - Picked this up from a 73 year old man last month. Not for sure if I want to store it over the winter. These are pictures of last weekends cruise through the Iowa country during harvest. Cream w/ mint black interior. Numbers matching drive train, the big 225, auto, power steering, new brakes, new battery, new alternator & new exhaust. No rust car but a few dings, chips & rubs on the bumpers. His dumb sh*t grandson put in a CD player & tossed the roller am. All original trunk & floors never detailed but are similar condition as the outside. What is this worth? $6800 located in eastern Iowa. Comes w/ a 8 3/4" A-Body rearend, green bearings, POR15 coated, 3:55 rear.

You are not out of line at all in your price. I certainly wouldn't take less than 6k. Where else are you going to find that condition driver for that kind af money?

3K??? C'mon, give yer head a shake. Where else are you going to find a SOLID, clean body like that? You'll save mega $$$ on bodywork with that Dart.

Good luck with the sale. I hope it finds a good home.

Yeah you all are right. It is worth 6k..........no problem. Just giving the guy some grief and if the car was closer I would probably buy it. No questions asked. It is ripe clean for sure no doubt.

Is it Sold??

Sorry gentlemen I got a great deal on storage ($30 per month heated, he wanted $50 on Sat.) Put it away for winter Monday morning. I'll call the people who emailed. Attached are requested photos. Not at the computer too much. Thank you A-Bodies, Richard.

That would make one hell of a sleeper if you drop in a big block.:burnout:

I had a 69 Dart Custom 2 dr w/ slant six for 18 years. I would still be driving if it wasn't stolen in Atlanta in 1994. The license plate was found years later on a stolen Jetta in Marietta. It was probably lifted for the fenders, which I heard fit Chargers.

If yours spent time outdoors in midwest winters, it probably rusted thru in the usual places - bottom qtr panel, front of doors, rear valance, in that order. Check for excessive body filler with a magnet. If solid metal everywhere it probably is worth $6K there, though not out here in CA.

Glad you found resonable winter storage. A little detailing in trunk/motor compartement, car would be superb! Now it's still worth at least 6k! LOL in the spring of '2010'. Gletobin PS-It would b e a screamer w/340ci. I know I've had 2/69 Swingers w/340's! Last on I bought in 1990, still have it, over $30,000.00 invested. My pride and JOY, never sell it! I have a date coded '69'/340ci. w/ 96k mi. complete if YOU want it. I MIGHT sell! Again it's a beautiful car! Thanks for post, Glenn
