Where is all the wiring & How do I make my engine bay look like this?

So Where is all the stuff?
Where do I start?

Do i build some type of panel and hide it somewhere?

If you have a clean firewall and engine bay please tell my what it took to make it.

I took this pick from mopar muscle this is not my car, just the look I want to go after. (as far as wiring, Not the color, or fake hose coverings.)

Its there. He just has it bundle together nicly and routed in such a way that it is hard to see from the angle the pic was taken. That is a very clean job.
 
I tack welded some 1/2 EMT pipe under the inner fenderwells as a wire chase for the lighting and fan wiring
 
yea looks like the bulkhead is still there. my question is if your going to hide all the wire like that guy (looks great by the way) why keep the wire holder on the firewall? why not grind them off and smooth them?
 
Who needs wires? Just cut them all off. You will be fine. But in allreality it looks nice and clean with the hidden wires. Wouldnt mind doing that myself.
 
That looks more like a showroom mockup to me. My quarter bet is it wont start or run.
 
Well it is a little clean for a daily driver, but I've seen cars with this look in the engine bay before. In my Toyota crawler i rerouted everything I could inside the the fire wall,But this is just awesome. I realize there are no wiper sprayers, But where is all the rest of the stuff?

A reference pick.

My engine bay, and yeah I'll start by relocating the battery over the left rear wheel.

You can see the temp sending unit wire and the alternator wires coming up the passenger side valve cover. The wiper motor wires are there as well along with the coil wires behind the carb. No battery, so it is probably in the trunk, and the starter solenoid is probably with it or on the inside of the firewall. That leaves the wires for the lights and the horn relay, which are probably routed under the inner fenders.
Very clean job. Moving the battery makes all the difference.
 
I read in Mopar Muscle recently that there is a company that is making a wireless engine bay harness that uses a completely new set up that has a transmitter and module that installs at the terminal block, and that you place sensors in the engine bay and this eliminates the need for wires. I will go back tomorrow and try to find the article and post the link when I come across it.

No. The battery should go as far back as possible in the right rear of the trunk to help with weight transfer and fight torque twist.

Battery in the trunk. Dont use the bulkhead in the firewall. Run them all under the dash.
All my wiring is in the old heater box location.

I am also planing to mount the coil underdash utilizing a bulkhead connecter through firewall.

Will also constuct a flip down panel hinged at the rear underdash to mount the MSD,fuse panel and associated relays. Out of sight, out of the way.
Trunk mouted battery as well.

I too have removed all enviroment elements so there is plenty of room.
Still have to figure out some sort of defroster though. But thats for another day.

Yep I was thinking about doing the same thing on my aspen, Summit sells a nice through connector for the coil so you don't take a chance with rubbing wires.

I wish I had taken some better pictures before I sold the car, but this is the engine compartment of my Duster. I welded closed 158 holes, ran the lighting wiring in a conduit in the driver's side wheel well and got rid of the bulkhead. There was a single wire for the alternator, one for the temp sender, two for the distributor, one for the nitrous and four for the wipers. All other components were under the dash.
