Lets see a vehicle you like from the year you where born.

Hey, good one!!.....I was gonna suggest the same car. A co-worker bought a Grand Nat'l in '87, got it stolen, and was then looking for another one around '89. He test drove an 25th Anniversary Turbo T/A, which of course has the same (somewhat) motor as a G.N. He told me "f*** that...that damn car is pure insanity!!" I keep hoping I could find one for cheap....like somebody or some dealer doesn't know what it is.

Ever take it in the quarter?

I took it to the strip when I first got it. 35k on it, bone stock, hot summer day, it ran 13.1 consistantly, and I never took it back.
I did some mods to it, and it is now like a fighter jet. I read once that the top speed is around 180, I believe it, the speedo goes to 140 and it keeps pulling.
Way ahead of its time in 89 and like no other machine. These turbo cars are crazy.

Just to clarify, it is the 20th Anniversary, I think they had a 25th, I know there is a 10th, a 15th, and a 30th.

It actually has the same engine as the GNX, with Pontiac heads, that flow better, and factory 'headers.' The TTA engine shares the GNX crank, ceramic prop turbo, etc.

I'd sell it now to finance my Mopar, but it needs paint so that would be financial suicide!
