connecting rod bearing size?

That's the weird part, oil pressure was 20-25 at idle and 60+ at speed. Never seemed to have oiling issues. I know that it was ran lean a few times when I was dialing in the timing but, not for long periods of time. Just enough to see if it would ping as I advanced the distributor. Either way....This project will be on hold till after Santa gets here. I will do as you guys suggested with the crank and rods. If I buy new will they still have to go to the machine shop or will they be good out of the box? What do I check for on "new rods"?

Talked to my favorite engine builder today and I'm going to bring the hole mess to him and let him look at it. I told him the crank looked good as far as the surfaces and he was mostly concerned about the radiuses...he will check everything out and give me advice. I think he quoted me 90$ to do do the crank if it's good, 95$ to recondition the rods if that's what I want and another 160$ for balancing. The shop is Edwards engines here in Albuquerque. He has done work for me before and does good work.

Here is their link. They also have great service. Always willing to listen and help if they can.
