What fuel pump are you running, Whats the fuel pressure ? I hook a fuel pressure guage up and make sure its not to high. Usually anything more then 7psi at idle will flood the carb. I had a chrome Holley pump that did this. It was putting out 9psi at 800rpms.

If your pressure is to high just add a regulator.

To get that to idle with that big cam, you have opened the throttle so you are into the main circuit, not the idle circuit. If it was a holley or demon 4 barrel you could just crack open the secondary butterflies a half turn or so. With the avs you'll probably have to drill a small (1/16") or so hole in each secondary butterfly. You might have to go bigger but try that first.

i fogot to mention that i have installed a fuel regulator and have the pressure adjusted between 4.5 and 5psi still no difference the fuel pump is a standard mech. pump

thats it...

Having to open your throttle plates too much can also cause a tip in hesitation. There are "transfer ports" (side ways slots that are revealed when throttle is slightly opened. There are there to provide enrichment when you come off idle. With the plates already into or past them, there is no enrichment provided other than acell pump. Sometimes it causes a problem and sometimes it doesn't.
