She's a beauty ,Tony, too bad about thew problems you ran into on your trip. How's that 67 coming along?I'm anxious to see(wonder why).8)

Thanks

I really didn't need the Daytona for the week it was in the shop. Our friends
we were staying with in Fountain Hills did all of the driving.

I will be getting over to the paint and body shop one day this week.
I should see a lot more done since I saw it last. I will post
up some pics on the other thread.

Well, since my last post on here...I've moved. Once we get the garage sale/swap meet stuff off of the Mustang, we can start working on that & get it to the body shop. Then I can get the Duster in there for my winter project! :) I've put way more pictures and posters and stuff up on the walls since these pictures but my camera is dead. I'll grab some batteries tonight. Me and my dad are still trying to make our fight that our cars and parts belong in the garage...not everything the girls don't want in the house! :D

This is after I got mine wired and lit but before I insulated and broke one of the old casement windows trying to open it. Come a little ways since earlier this year. I still need to get ALL my stuff into one place and figure out how to arrange it but projects are underway as I write.

Wow, what a nice set-up you have, love the back shop, very clean and tidy!! I thought it was cool to see my friends (babyblue66) drawing of your Duster hanging on your wall!!!!

Thanks Keith! I thought someone here would have noticed the drawing...He is gifted for sure...did you notice how the 6 x 6 post are secured to the concrete? The post sit in 1/4" thick powder coated brackets that are bolted to the 6" concrete floor via concrete anchors drilled 6 in. into the floor....In the corners two seperate brackets are used to secure the post. On the runs one single "U" bracket is utilized. The building is rated for 120 mph winds and 30 lb per sq ft snow load. The sides and roof are pre-engineered panels that break on center of each post & truss. Ive got less than 20 G's in that building total and didn't lift a finger to construct it. Dave

Here are mine, 24 x 32 attached to the house. Not much room to do anything in that one with at least one of my daughters crashed cars on the hoist at any given time LOL. Just closed in the 30 x 36 detached for my projects only, not much in it now except lumber scraps and my disassembled paint booth. Made it 2 story with a 750 sq ft office/game room above. Just trenched in the power and gas today so I can work on the inside this winter. Can't wait till it's finished. Kev

There are some seriously nice garages shown here.. I am all kinds of jealous LOL

Fellow Hot Rodder,

Here's part of mine and it takes some work!

i like yours joe. it was really open and clean and seemed like it would be really funcitional.

my grandad has the set up i want lol. if you squeeze you can fit 8 cars in there then he has a seperate barn you could fit 5 in if you squeeze and it is all tall enough for lifts its sweet. i guess it used to be a grain elevator building so there are big cut out spots in the ground so you could work under your car with out lifting it at all. its pretty cool. to bad they got filled with concrete many years ago and both buildings are full of junk and only can fit 4 cars all together. you guys have really nice garages and nice wifes lol. my gf would want at least one spot for her lol
