i had to get one recently and i had to order it through Hard Parts. the shop i was doing it at contacted them and it cost me 210.00. it was a reman carb but it works great so far. i had to reuse my base though because my linkage on my 64 dart wouldn't fit.
 
a guy at slantsix.org has some nos carbs-- that would be better than a reman-- unit --especially if you are paying $210.00.

For $210 I will get off my butt and put on one of the 2bbl set ups I have on the car! I'm just looking for something to get me by until we move to a new house, that is when I get to rip into the car!:snakeman:
 
I have a carter 1bbl. I rebuild and ran for 4months works great. $40.00 +shipping. Pm me if you are interested. Tom
 
Hay JR, I have the 1bbl I took off of Victoria bud and it ran just fine.
Let me hook you up with it, It would be my honor to help you out for a change.
 
I am sure you know what kind of carb it is, it's from a 66 Valiant /170 original
so it may not work with the older solid linkage that was used :dontknow: what your linkage you are using
 
I blew the Holley apart today after work and found that the plunger slid off accelerator pump in the float bowl... stupid design! So I'm not in a big hurry for a new carb but if I can get a carter for cheap enough I will throw it on.
What kind of carb is the one you have Mike, I thought Victoria had a Holley on her? I am going to take TomMoparMan up on his but if I can get another Carter 1bbl I will throw it on Nikkis 66.
