Getting the lower quarter test fitted


This is just the "rough" cut, used air hammer with a cutting tip, found a few rust spots (especially in the trunk extension) that I had to make patches for.


I made about four patches, two for the extension an and a few for the inner fender well.

Covered it in POR-15, turned out nice


These are NOT my wheels, but I have been thinking about some bigger wheel/tire combo's....so my instructor told me to put his 17's from his delivery sedan on...what do you think? I dont think they look too big, kinda like them, might look into some 17 inch wheels all the way around.


Got the panel fitting better so I drilled the Cleko holes with a 1/8 inch drill bit, still on the rough cut.


here is the final cut, still have some small trimming to do but came pretty close to where I want it. Just scribed around the pannel and used a 3 inch cutting wheel to cut.


Pretty close! just have some very small adjustments/trimming to do then should be ready to weld.
