i'll tell you why the doors were cut out,when i started building this car in my gravel drive way i was newly married with 2 step sons.so money was tight and lighter is better when you don't have a lot of horse power.it ran 13.40 first time out with a 360 in 1990 eventually 12.50s.put a 440 in it on alcohol,and it went a best of 10.43.when i sold it ,it was running 12.30s with a 360.3500.00 turn key,and it looked a hell of alot better then,it was blue with silver from top edges of body line.
