Knee Replacement Surgery-A little anxiuos

Dwayne, I'm Glad to hear everything well other than that pesky gout:cheers:. Soon you'll be up and around and working on the Dart.
Oh yeah, tell your wife I went and looked at a 4th Demon yesterday:toothy10:
 
Glad to hear everything's going well so far. Now comes the fun stuff - rehab!
It does get better and you'll be amazed what it's like to walk again without pain.
Total knee replacement or partial?

Total- doctor felt it was too late for the partial and as many others on this thread have commented "partials don't work that great overall".:cheers:

Did they put you under or did they do a local ?
 
I'm glad your home safely. Keep us posted as you go- I've got this looming in my future as well...

Mike I had a spinal and a femural block. Was awake for the whole thing.
Femural block works like a dentist when they deaden the nerves and then it wears off. Only problem, didn't time external drugs right- The block goes off like a light switch-10:55 had no pain-11:00- pain was excrucriationg till it was brought under control.
Would definetly do it the same way thought.

Thank you for the reply 72Swinger340, I will be needing some work dun soon but I can't do Anastasia, sounds like that will be the way the doctors will go for me. When they finely woke me up after my first surgery I had 6 folks around me and a big round looking space ship over my chest spitting up blood so I am none electable or something like that. I am so glad things went well for ya bud :cheers:And thank you for the info :cheers:

I wouldn't go any other way. Doctors are recommending it simply because there is a lot less problems getting people woke up again such as throwing up..

Yea a little sore Chris, but coming along a little better each day- look at it this way you and I probably have the same tools in our shops as the doctor used. Just their drugs are legal !!!!!!LOL
