Xcptshnl1: I lost my grandmother this morning

I lost my Grand Mother this morning at 2 am. We called her Mamaw Ruth.
Mamaw was 94 years old. Mamaw Ruth passed in her sleep of natural causes.
Mamaw was born in January of 1915 in a 2 room log cabin in Braxton County, West Virginia. She only went to the 3rd grade, which was a lot of "schooling" for a girl way back then. She married my Papaw at the age of 14 (which was common back then), in 1929. Mamaw and Papaw had 10 children by 1947. Papaw passed in 1984 of cancer.

There were 6 Generations alive with Mamaw.
Her 10 childern,
25 Grand children ,
77 great- grand children ,
32 great-great-grand children ,
and

11 great-great-great-grand children.

I have to cook for all of them in 4 days. Now, I am not freaking out, I consider it a blessing. Someone else is buying the food. I will not be using my own kitchen. and I will have help. But,where I was a restaurant manager for Shoney's, I have been elected by my Aunts, my dad's 6 sisters, to be in charge of the food. This was not an unexpected passing. This is going to be a good old fashioned Irish Wake, full of good memories and a celebration of Mamaw Ruth's life. I do ask for prayers for my father and his 9 brothers and sisters for the loss of their mom.

Thank you.
