As you read i just bought a 68 Vailiant this week. It needs alot of work and first I need a torsion bar cross member any body know where i can get one.

Welcome! Please post pics indeed. As far as your crossmember, try to seek out crackedback on here. Super cool guy, and very easy to deal with. He'll likely have what you're looking for.

Yes to your first question and welcome to the best darn site out there.
We have the best of the best tec's and some great folks here.
Take a look around and enjoy.

trust me its a very good pic. the frame is rusted out and someone painted over alot of stuff Rust/bondo, without even sanding off surface rust. Just painted right over it. the body is straight though. needs quarters and fenders. and the windshield has that fog around the outside. Anybody know if that can be removed somehow or do i just need a new one.

thats ok though i am up for the challenge. I was looking for a 69 but the split grill has already grown on me.

Bought my 68 7 years ago and used it as a daily driver untill about 5 months ago. Best A-body I ever owned. It is going to sit for awhile until I can decide whether to get it going again or start to restore. Time and money always seem to be a problem. Good luck

a picture is worth a thousand words. THese two problems are already solved. I am going with fiberglass fenders. and the cross member a guy on here is currently cutting out for me

Google auto rust technicians. They have a full line of rust-repair pieces. Good folks. Good luck with the project.

Just remember one project ( area of the car )at a time and keep the parts showing up on the front door...
