1)Replace fuel filter
2)Carter fuel pump (buy one \\ 13.50's is fast enough to need a hi performance fuel pump.
3)When replacing the fuel pump and filter ,pull fuel from the fuel line with a syphon pump and check for rust coming from the fuel tank.
4)rebuild and clean carb \\ check float levels.
