This new gun law:-k and change they just past :-k is it good or bad ?
I think real good screening and follow up's on carriers should have a profile and caricature check yearly and should be there when needed 8)
I have seen and herd of many lives saved in the last 2 ta 3 years because someone was packing a life saver.
I have not read it all but I know some folks here that will read it and see the direction the writer is going on this new new's to me :dontknow:
Thank you for your help on the big picture thoughts you share with me

It would not take me long to pull mine out and lay a crazy shooter down in a park, shopping mall foot ball game or even in a coffee shop where 4 good men where shot not long ago. I think 8)

Pistols do not fall under the existing laws i think..

If you are going to do what you suggest..I suspect that you haven't registered your SMG nor ak47 or what ever you plan to use..the bottom line is , i suspect, bad guys don't follow laws ...or as my dad used to say, locks are for honest people.

I have heard that some collectors have burried there more interesting hardware so they don't have to register their illegal arms..

These has been an incredible amount of money spent for little benefit.

BTW, mine are registered.

My humble opinion only..

Ahh yes, another good ol' Canadian cash grab.
I have no direct relation to this Mike, but originally it was passed as a law that all Gun owners need a 1) gun permit, 2) hunting license, to be able to purchase a riffle legally and must show proof of the above when purchasing.

These riffles must then be registered, police station...

This law was passed to detour "gun violence" and crimes.

Well we all know that the vast majority of the crimes are not being committed by hunters, farmers, shooting range members ...

And what Grassy said, no real gain...
I wonder why? Maybe kuz "gang members" don't register there "hot" guns.

I believe it just took away from your everyday citizen, at no benefit.

well Canada has gun laws so no "because someone was packing a life save"
hand guns are illegal-basically anyways

the goverment keeps the regestered part even tho the opposition and "experts" all say to get rid of it
my dads guns are regestered-those that need to be anyways
havent been out hunting in 10 years or so-just cant seem to get a group together-just small game-rabbits and critters
heck the last time they were out was when we cleaned them up and regestered them,LOL
