Sure, you could do that... but from what I saw in those few photos, it would take several months. Amazing! Good for him, for collecting when the parts were cheap enough that he could afford it. I collected once, then sold several cars and all the parts when life circumstances changed (and the girl of my dreams didn't include my dreams in hers). Several years later (when I returned to my senses), it was significantly more expensive to get back into the hobby.

Yea, my organizing system is similar to your Dad's. I usually know where everything is, based on location and strata. It drives other people nuts. ;)
