Spring re-location?

I didn't know what the hell I was doing when I installed mine, so I bought the MP kit for my '62 Valiant. I remember having one hell of a hard time figuring out how to install it, even though it came with instructions. I also recall having to make about 4 trips to the local trailer parts supply store to buy additional u-bolts, shackles and other hardware that I needed.

Moving the leafs inward does change the handling. I think it is because it has the effect of raising the rear roll center. (Double-check me on that; I'm not an engineer.) Maybe you don't care about this too much because you're building a drag car(?), but if it's a road car, with the bigger-than-stock rubber that you're going to be installing, if you also install a nice big rear sway bar it will handle like it's glued to the road!
