Which is the best manifold for a 360 engine:

cam: 284-284 MP DCC-4120231 - rpm 2600-6000
4 speed trans
roller rocker 1.5

Single plane or dual plane? someone said depends on your cam Operating RPM Range.. is that correct or not?

A dual plane. Now which one fits the bill best is a matter of dynoing each one till you find out which one does it best. LOL

The only way I'd use a single plane with that basic set up is with a very high stall converter and gears.

An engine builder friend of mine has had great success with professional products air gap and I have seen it advertised as low as $159.

+1, I bought one, even though there have been claims about this intake not produceing the HP #s of an Eddy air-gap, i've yet to see true Dyno #s, i'm running it on a mild 360 magnum with bolt-ons & i can't complain, the price is right, the fitment was good, but this is with new heads. Another intake that does very well (for a single plain) is the Holley SD.
