For unto us..

Nice, Max. Merry Christmas.

"And there were shepards living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger.
Suddenly a great company of heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying:
"Glorying to God in the Highest,
and on the earth peace to men on
whom His favor rests."

Luke 2: 9-14, NIV

Again, Merry Christmas.

This is the King James version. I can't help but think of the Charlie Brown Christmas special when Linus recites this passage.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were so afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good will toward men.
