im thinking about rear mounting TTs on my dart seeing as its a v8 one for each intake and exhaust i think 2 t3s 20mm would be just dandy :snakeman:

Sorry, I'm just trying to figure out the question?

It does sound like a nice plan.

no questrion i was just stating after i get her running im gunna go to the ol slavage yard and get 2 garret 40s off of two eclipse gsx turbo cars and put one turbo to each side. that should make the car the ultimate sleeper

are you going for a sleeper look? I would think the rear mounted turbos lose some pressure over the up front ones. But then you would have to mess with headers.

Didnt someone already do something like this???/ In a Mopar rag?

I cant remember for sure...rear mounted turbos.......hmmm

you would loose a little bit of pressure but its better than fabbing up an intake and headers for 2 turbos that would be costly. all the rear mount does is sit behind the car runs into toe exhaust has piping ran back to the carb im going to get the spectre air filter with the dual plenums and have them run into that to the carb

Didn't I read something about them having a rear mounted twin turbo kit for the Ram trucks?

I like the idea.

Don't forget with them mounted in the rear you will need to pump the oil back to the pan.

im going to get 2 mini fuel pumps from o reulys 1 for each turbo there about 40$ each

I would be leery of using a fuel pump to pump hot oil from a turbo, they make specific electric oil pumps that are made to take the heat usually made with brass gears.

I saw a 2009 Hemi Challenger at a local car show last summer. It had twin turbos mounted in the rear. I didn`t see exactly how it was plumbed but I saw his time slips, low 10 second 1/4 mile times. It was one bad *** Challenger, and at the end of race day while all of the other guys were trailering their cars, he changed out his rear wheels, rolled up the windows, turned on the A/C, popped in a CD, and away he drove. If you do this mod right, it can be fantastic.

see the only deal is. with TTS im afraid ill have to lower the compression of my motor and im afraid the stock innards might be a lil too weak for TTS. even if they are two stock srt4 turbos

if anything u want high compression that way u wont have any turbo lag. with a comp of at least 9.5:1. and also how much boost do you want? anything under 10-15 lbs u wont even notice.

and how did u decide those are the rite turbos for ur app? have u done the math to find out if u'll surge the turbos? i can find the equations if u want...

my compression is 10-1 n please if you can All i know is they produce about 9lbs of boost so they wont hurt my i have a turbo off a 6cyl mercedes here but i asked about it on here and a bunch of people said that it was too small and wouldnt do any good for the motor so i thought maybe two srt4 turbos would make it go vroom =)

plus i can get srt4 turbos for cheap with no shaft play

The reason SRT4 turbos are cheap is because the turbine housing is cast as an integral part of the exhaust manifold. Not a good candidate for anything other than turboing another Neon motor.
