i made this over the last week in my metal shop. first i wrote the CNC program to make it. then cut it out of 1 inch aluminum. dremeled the finger slots. and alottt of sanding and buffing...this is only one of many things ive made. (patch panels for the dart. engine mounts for my dads truck. eninge stand. rifle rest. fratzog keychains.) sorry about the picture quality. its my cell phone and its reallly shiny so it wont take a very good pic.

i honestly have no idea what youre talking about?

"Candy Cane" trim on a 65 Dart looks sort of like a candy cane. It meedts the hood trim then follows the contour of the headlights and then straight to meet the other side in the middle. I'll see if I can get a picture of my loose candy canes.

OK here's a quick picture of a left and right candy cane as they would sit on a Dart. The hood trim meets these two pieces at the top and is the same size/cross-section, etc as the expensive and hard-to-find candy canes.

Thanks every one. haha i made about five for my friends already. i have this one and one thats modified to be a t-handle. can you give me more details and pics on the "Candy Canes"? ill see if i can make one or two.

If you can make em, theres lots of people round here looking for them.. So you could make some good money there.. I'll buy if you can make them=P~

ok. i get the idea of what they are. but i need close ups, how they are made? dimensions? i dont have a 65 dart. i have a 64.

those candy cane deals look like they've been rolled in a, crap can't remember the name of the tool. They use them in sheet metal work all the time. Crap, it upset me I can't remember the name.
