Youtube has a lot of good videos of breaking it down and cleaning it. The design is simple a lot more so the then AR-15 (M16 & M4) design. The AR-15 is a great rifle to own but I really like the AK. I did build an AR a few years ago.
I watched a couple of them before I took it apart, a very simple gun. Didn't take much at all....very intelligent design thats cheap to produce with very few moving parts. I would like to build an AR someday, pretty cool guns.
