Well I got the dart all reassembled after paint and took these pics. Had to work out a few gremlins but thats normal for having it torn apart for a year.
Just painted the grill 3 days ago and bolted that on yesterday. I went to Carlisle today and man guys, if your not there or planning to go, your really missing out. It was 80 degrees with no humidity today and supposed to be like that tomorrow! I got some good deals and picked up 2 tuff wheels, one for me and one for a buddy who has a dart and wants one. People are asking big bucks for things, even seems worse than I remember from last year. Anyhow, I'm taking the dart to my first show tomorrow, hope to see some of you there.

Thanks for all the compliments. Just got back from Carlisle and it was great! I got a few cool parts to finish up the interior and can't wait to leave for Syracuse Nationals with it later this week. I also wanted to add, I owe a huge thanX to this site and alot of people who frequent this site that answered TONS of technical questions that otherwise would have left me high and dry during the build and as a result saved me tons of cash I otherwise would have wasted figuring things out. Hope I can return the favor sometime.

Sweet ride 1972 dart!

Damn nice job, I hope to get back at mine this month!! Any good deals at Carlisle or were prices inflated? I am going to try to attend next year and hope to pick up some goodies. Enjoy your ride I bet it feels awesome to get to enjoy it now!

Prices seemed inflated to me but there were good deals to be had. My buddy has a 70 challenger he's starting to restore and found tons of stuff for real good prices. I spent half the day lugging parts out with him. It was kinda nice watching someone else spend lots of money for once, LOL. The car corral seemed a bit crazy for me though. I'm not sure if people will come back to reality today being Sunday and drop prices but everything in there from the roughest hunk of junk you can think of seemed over priced. Still worth going to especially if it may have been that last year for it. There still discussing moving the event somewhere else, no word released of where, but still negotiating. That goes for spring and fall carlisle flea market, GM, Ford, Import, and Bike events possibly going bye bye. That would suck since I live 20 miles away.

I heard that they were going to not allowed t-shirt vendors and any other non car parts related vendors to be there. They want it to be a swapmeet, not a flea market. And this would make more room for car stuff. One of the T-shirt venders that I was talking to was telling me this at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. He said that they were running out of room because the shows are getting so huge.
