I would be suspect about it. The numbers he quoted for you are the number of 67 GTS 383 4 sp Darts that were built. They also made 228 with a 727. I know I'm restoring one for another member that is an auto.
I agree, I can't see there being 229 Mr Norm 67 383 4spd's. He build the first BB Dart, before Chrysler built any but I can't see where he built or modified the same number as Chrysler built in 67. That means that the only 67 BB 4spd Darts around would be Mr Norm cars.
This may not be 100% accurate, but the way I understand how the BB A-Bodies came about is Mr Norm asked for a BB Dart but was told they couldn't do it so he built one and took it to some executives and Chrysler and showed them, and supposedly they told the engineers to look at what the boys in Chicago built and if they can do it so can we.
