Looks just like my car, just not gold, of course. My Duster is my first and still only car, and at first definitely wasn't the definition of a reliable DD. Leaked oil and tranny fluid like a sieve, stalled countless times due to the stupid P.O.S. original Carter BBD carb, had no power, and the brakes were messed up. Not to mention the dome light has a strange untraceable ground which prevents it from turning off and the weatherstripping is almost non-existent. But thankfully most of that has been fixed over the past two years; all I really have to worry about now is the oil burning and leaky master cylinder.

Here's when I brought her home:

Have fun though, I find using a classic Mopar as a daily driver is much more rewarding and makes the daily commute much less boring.

This is my current D/D that I just recently picked up about a month ago or so or something like that.
A '03 V-6 4X4 quad cab.

I was useing the Duster (below the Dak) everyday for a little while. I wanted to keep the snow outta it. I'm going to attempt some panel repair.

Below the Duster is a '79 Dodge Magnum, a 2 year run name plate. I did a 318 to 400 swap in it. Otherwise, beside headers and a intake/carb, it's stock w/3.55's.

That has been my D/D for about 6 years now. Until the truck replaced it. It needs some attention. You know.... old cars and bugs that crop up and such.

This was a 40,000 mile 67 Coronet that I bought from the original owners grandson who was using it to deliver pizza's. I ended up selling it to work on the Fish.

Another 40,000 mile car I bought to be a daily driver, but a guy that seen it wanted it more than me at the time so I sold it. Big mistake, this car drove like it was new.

I built this to be a daily driver and drove it for almost 15 years, I even delivered papers part time with it back in the 90's It looked a lot nicer when I built it back in 89. Sold it to work on the fish.

This is what I drive daily I wish I could drive my Dart everyday but with our winters here I don't have the heart to destroy a Classic Mopar. Maybe I'll get a 67 Mustang or an old Camaro to drive in the winter wouldn't be as big of a loss LOL (sorry if there happens to be any Ford or Chev fans on this Mopar site). Anyway my DD is an 02 Neon I do show it in the summer but it's a b*#ch to keep it as clean as in the pic but it's always that clean except in the winter of course

Not very accommodating in bad weather..... :toothy10:

Just kidding.... we ate the Horse's and turned the chariot into a welding tank cart.

This is my current daily driver. `74 Swinger with a /6-auto. 85K mls.
Starting to get a little rough looking. Either needs some love or a new home.

Any interesting LOCAL offers for a trade? She runs great and is very reliable. Just getting scruffy looking.

My daily driver is getting some updates and the ol truck has been keeping me on the road

Nice score 540! I too have a Duster like yours to drive on a daily basis. I will alternate between the Duster and the 69 Roadrunner. I traded an a-body 8 3/4 for it and it had a blown auto trans. I made it a four gear. Lots more to do before it sees regular duty.

My 73 is my daily driver and the newest vehicle we own. Nikkis daily driver is the 66. With any luck I will be getting my hands on a 57 chevy 4 door wagon and that will end up as my daily driver rain, snow, sun, or whatever.
