I will do a search and see where you can get one. I will post it here if I am successful.

I would feel comfortable buying from this site using PAYPAL. I would call them first and have them send you an Invoice thru PAYPAL so if anything happens they will refund the $$ to you.....The price is $161.04

ok here is an up date on the carter M 61147 mech pump,,, i spoke to the hi performance dept at fedral moguel,,they purchased carter and divided it up,kept what they wanted, sold off the other,,sold AFB carbs to edelbrock ETC,,,

this fuel pump was made from 1996 and discontinued end of 2008,they ran out of stock feb of 2009..and will not make any more,,,

they gave me a number of a place they said stocks there older stuff,,so i called,, he just laughed,,and said they give me no support,,they just pushed you off on to me,,,

this compnay i called is the company that actually builds the pumps,,and does repair on out of production pumps and other items,,,

he is looking in to it,to see if he can build me a pump of this nature,,as soon as i hear back ill update,,,

also all the links on this topic, either have no contact info or do not stock this item either,,,including VP PERFORMANCE down under,,,

one more thing to add,, the clay smith pump,,i have not heaqrd back from them, i e mailed them a week or 2 ago,,then i did a search,,they are in canada,,and closed till the 8th for the holidays,,

http://claysmithcams.com/ppf-17mopara-273-360.aspx i'm going to try one of these when I swap out the electric pump on my setup I have never used one but it claim can supply 1300 hp???

ok here is the latest up date on a high volume mech fuel pump for a small block mopar,,,

after calling every where and every one,, only found 3 options,, 1st the way over priced eddy 172 GPH mech pump around 400 bucks,,

then fedral mogul pointing me in the direction of a guy in MASS that rebuild fuel pump that are noe out of production,,,he said he would build what i needed, using a AC DELCO body and a mopar arm,,but could not give me a flow rating,,said if it didnt work he would refund me my money,,,cost he said at least 250.00

the clay smith link provided by dotchguy is the winner,,clay smith was closed for 2 weeks for the holidays,,and i finally talked with them,,they build them as ordered,, ordered mine today,,will be build and shipped today,,5 days UPS 140 GPH 1/2 npt inlet and outlet,, so it has to flow at least what i have or better being its large inlet and out let,,

Nice looking pump. I am thinking of getting one myself. Let us know if you have to do any grinding. Thanks.

yes i agree great price 125 plus shipping,,,now im going to up grade a few fuel lines and yes i wanna see if it clears with out grinding,,,the inlet and out let are in weird positions,,,,

they sent me a very small catolog
and in the catolog is a bottom plate for thses pumps,,,making the inlet and out let on the bottom if it doent clear your motor with the side inlets, i wish they would of told me when i ordered i would of bought it and only paid shipping once lol

fstfish I bet you can take the bottom screws loose and rotate the bottom section to get the inlet and outlet where you want them. I know on Carters you can and it looks like a similar design.

a carter has 2 bowls that are clockable,,, this pump has the inlet and outlet on the same bowl,,,so if it was rotatable both would turn,,, when i get to it ill mount it and see what i have,,they make a botom plate and plug kit ,,it relocates the inlet and out let from the side to the bottom,,kinda a kool deal,, this pump must be made well its heavy as *&^%$....

Right. Even though they both move you might be able to find an ideal (or at least close) setting for them is what I meant. The relocation kit does sound like the best though.

The Carter pump says it is clockable on both bowls. The bottom bowl is clockable at about 15* at a time but the top bowl MOVES with it. The top bowl will only clock 180* by itself other wise it moves with the bottom. I checked this all out when I installed mine. I guess you could drill some extra holes in it but then you might loose fuel pressure or ?? if you didnt cover up the existing holes that come from the factory. This is from my experience working with this pump. Fwiw
