2.02 heads on a 318

I have heard that you can not put 2.02 heads on a 318, is this true, or can you bore it .030 over and fit them on? I am looking to Aluminum heads on a 318 stroked out to 349 cu in. Is this possible or should I just go ith a 360 bored .030 over with some eddy heads?

They will fit on a standard bore, whether or not they would provide a benefit depends on the application. Some people notch the cylinder bore to aid in air flow, which is what you might have heard, but it is not necessary.
