When i went to rmr to race(4200? feet) i would have to mix one gal. of 108 octane fuel, to a half a tank of 91 or it would develop a ping at the top of 2nt gear, right before i shifted, in the heat of the summer.
If i new then, what i know now.......I would have done more prep to the top of the piston, and the combustion chamber.
Then i wouldn't need any racing fuel for my measly 9.4:1 compression.
