I am 99% sure that if I had the time and a D64 sitting around I would start playing. I did reading sometime back that if you fill and redrill it actually works pretty well.
But you are 100% on the TOOLs you get when you try to call and ask questions at any of the major parts suppliers. My first question is always whats your daily driver? If its not a mopar it better at least be one of the big 3 and at least prior to 1980.
And as far as the production of the LA VS all the new aftermarket crap they make I guess they have to try to get all the new high dollar sports cars to run with our old Mopars.
Sure the newer cars have the nice features. Power windows, locks, ac, cruise, a damn computer telling the engine what to do and they get decent mpg. But my hands and feet can do all the same. Skinny pedal, brake and roll down the window.
Ma Mopar did it right back in the day.
