hope it works out for you. I hate this weather. Tryed to start the tractor this morning to scrape the drive ways, 2 hours later and niether one will start. I gave up.

Had one , Have one now forsale ... LOVE them ... Unfortunately i am heading in a different direction... BUT someday will be worth good money ... Probably going to be one of the rarest due to MOST of them were used/abused/rusted ...

i just like the body style, and look like they would be comfortable for a daily driver. From what ive researched so far, most of them have a 20 gallon gas tank?I think with a near stock 318,with only a performer intake, and headers, small 4 barrel, and 276 gears, the car should be decent on gas.later on,i might swap in some kind of od trans, and a thermoquad, since they have really small primaries. For now,ill put my 650 on it,with the heavy secondary springs,to slow them from opening some.I imagine some tall rear tires, like 255/70/15 will gear it up some more too,for the time being. The plan for now,is to call next friday night to see if its still there,if so,im going after it next saturday.I just rode around here, and there is just way too much ice on the road to try it today.Oh well,if its there, ill get it,if not,ill do something else.

If You know where in Clayton it is located, I will drive by there and if I can see it from the road I will keep you notified if it is still there. Is that the wagon that was on craigslist? There is also a 73 Duster in Clayton off Hwy 70 near 42 East that is kind of tucked away behind a guys barn. He was trying to sell it ($700.00) but it never sold so he out it behind the barn. I believe it is a /6 auto on column. Needs work - typical rust out in the quarters etc... I am not interested in either vehicle so this is not an issue. But if you need someone to kind of keep an eye out to see if this car is still there, shoot me a P.M and I will do so. And if you are heading over towards Clayton this week to buy this car, I would like to meet a fellow FABO member. Let me know.

For you guys that want a real Volare RR i have a 78 or so with a factory 360 4 barrel, white bucket seat console interior. Did i mention it has a factory sunroof? It is a project with no title but i will provide a bill of sale. It's in West Plains, Mo, 65775 for $1500. I think they are neat also.
Small Block

1977 Volarie Big Block here, I picked it up in 1989 and didn't have the cash to continue. My A body and Cuda race car ended up getting all the project money. So I have decided to sell it . All the body work is done and it's edged in black. I have a set of Super Coupe flairs but I think the car would look better with out .

to be honest, this would be the first f body i ever considered owning, and know pratically nothing about them except what ive learned in the last 2 days.So all i can say is ill have like 150.00 left after i pay for the car,and pay to have it hauled here to my house.Im sure ill have to come up with some more.Luckily,i have most of the parts i need to get the car mobil, once it gets to my house.

I love the f-body's too. I've owned 3 of them, and 2 of them I've owned TWICE!:-\" This was my first one, bought the first time in '94, bought again in '06, and just sold this past Tuesday. Hopefully, I can now get to work on one of my 67s...

When living on the west coast I met a guy who had a 78? Aspen RT 360. Black/black beauty. His girlfriend had a Black/Red 318 one, one serial# different. Then he was looking at another one sitting on a lot in Surrey - black/red 318 that was one # away! All I recall is they were 313/314/315 :)

Noe that was cool to see.

I love them too. I've had several of the Road Runners, an R/T, and 2 of the Feather Dusters. I had a 4 door Aspen /6 4 sp OD. Got 31 mpg!!!

my uncle has a 78 volare Roadrunner in white. i will try posting pics soon!

i guess if i get the blue one,ill either paint it back blue,or silver,to go with the blue and white interior. But i guess black would work too, lol.

Here's mine. Actually, its a 1980 Volare that the previous owner turned into a 1979 Aspen. Originally slant 6, now 1979 318 with 600 CFM Edelbrock, headers, etc. Pretty fast for a 318 of this year. A nice low mileage car. The only rust is in the floor pans. I also owned a 1977 Aspen R/T several years ago. I'll see if I can find some good photos of it to post later.

I have an 8-1/4 sure grip rear with 2.76 gears in it that came from an aspen rt if anyone is interested. i'll let it go REALLY CHEAP.......

wish4hemi, do you still have that complete 8.25 assembly? My 7.25 bought the farm testing my new 360 motor. Too much torque.

I did one for a customer - use an A-Body front tubular crossmember - makes the front end ride great - for the rear - fab in some A-Body rear frame rail kits - use A-Body Super Stock spring kits with a narrowed B-Body 8-3/4 and your good to go
