Since we're sharing yanked 318 motor pics lol
Here's when we yanked the original 318 and rebuilt it. Kinda in a hurry doing it since it was still my only car at the time (and still is) so we didn't do much of anything to the engine bay while it was out.

It will be pulled again likely by the end of the year for a eddie headed 360. I'd like to respray the engine bay, weld up all the wholes. get it looking clean since all the wiring is off the fenders. the circuit breaker for the alternator will be moved to the trunk when that goes down. :D

Ha ha ha. I should snap a shot of my bat for a comparo. (Barf bags required to view.)

thanks guys. its a 72 340, 30 over. kb pistons, 2.02 j heads, pretty much stock bottom end. the cam is a XE275HL from compcams. hopefully i'll get getting it put in within a month or so. dave

Here I am dreaming about putting my 4 speed and 318 in my 70 and your yanking yours out. 340 looks sweet!

I just yanked my slant6 in favor of this 318 ! Just got it fired up a couple days ago. Just a few more details to button up and i'll have her back on the road !
