And it begins....

It's really coming along. Looks like you're really getting the hang of it. Still watchin'

Grant

thank you and I sure am getting the hang of it, my welding has improved dramaticly in the last couple months, and really getting the hang of filler and getting a panel laser straight. thanks for watching

One of the coolest threads Ive came across by-far!!! Dude it looks like they are cramming the info in you the right way, I dont see any shortcuts man great work. I think everyone here appreciates the work your putting into the car and the pics as well. Wish I could dig in and work on my car non-stop like that... By the way the filler job isn't as bad as you think... People that have worked with it know that its tough to find out how to get comfortable with it at first. I get a lil upset sometimes when I havent fooled with it in a while and mix a batch and either mix too much or not enough etc... Keep it up man that car is going to be awesome!!!!:D

I am flattered and really apreciate it. No shortcuts for sure, doing everything the correct way to the best of my ability. I'm glad thats how they teach us here, I am trying to start off as keeping my work as correct and clean as possible, I want that to reflect on me as a student and later as an employee.

Have had allot of trial and error with filler. Every-once in awhile I put too much hardener in or not enough in and either have to apply it quickly before it dries or wait for an hour just for it to harden, but I am getting allot better with it.

thanks
